Dave Jones met his wife Nicky at Springfield College, Massachusetts in 1972. They were married on August 9, 1975 and nine days later departed for Milan, Italy where they both taught Physical Education at an international school for two years. This taste of the world and their newly found faith in Jesus Christ began a series of events that have led them around the world and most recently back to New England.

Dave and Nicky have four children (Rebecca, Sarah, Jeremy and Rachele) who have spent most of their lives growing up Italy and Germany. The Joneses where sent to the mission field in 1982 by Christian Fellowship Church in Evansville, Indiana with Crossworld (formerly UFM International) to work in a church planting ministry in downtown Milan, Italy. After 10 years and 3 church plants they served at Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany for eight years. BFA is an international christian boarding for missionary children. During these years Dave and Nicky both taught and coached. Dave served as the High School Principal, Director, and Chaplain while also training leaders on trips into Bulgaria and Russia.

The Joneses returned to their home church in Indiana in 2000 where Dave assumed the leadership of CFC’s Global Outreach Team. During this time he coordinated their growing missionary staff, taught leadership training in the local church and aboard, visited missionaries on the field and pastored.

Dave and Nicky returned to New England after receiving a call to serve as Pastor at Trinity in Windsor. They are thrilled to be back in New England after 30 years and are blessed to have their immediate families and children living between Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Nicky is currently teaching ninth and tenth grade Math at Windsor High School while Dave is serving as Senior Pastor. Their hobbies include biking, kayaking and exploring the New England country side. Dave enjoys reading Church History and refinishing antique furniture while Nicky is making quilts for everyone in the family.
