Dear Learning from the Life of Hezekiah,
It continues to amaze me how God’s grace working through one person can make such a difference in a nation. Hezekiah’s legacy is a perfect illustration of what we value at Trinity. He wanted to be a True Worshiper seeking first God’s kingdom in all things. He assembled a team of priests, Levites, military leaders and prophets around him who worked Together in unity. He was committed to Transformation and the elimination of all forms of defilement and disobedience. And lastly Hezekiah wanted to Transmit the blessings of God’s reign even to his enemies in the north. He couldn’t horde the blessings for himself. His life continues to speak and to challenge us today. May we follow in his footsteps valuing these principles that connected him to Jesus’ grace and supremacy.
Baptism Sunday at the North Hartland Lake – Our annual church picnic and outing takes place on August 1st at 10:00am. We will be worshiping together, celebrating Communion, witnessing baptisms and enjoying a potluck. We will have the grill ready to go along with paper plates, cups, lemonade, plastic silverware and napkins. Please bring meat to grill out and a dish or dessert to share. Directions are available in the bulletins. This year we will be using the pavilion closest to the beach on the right.
The Upper Room Class will begin another year of study focusing on the NT books and Church History. If you would like to attend these classes each Sunday evening from 6-8pm please sign up or email me. I need to order the Church History books by the middle of August. First class begins on September 12th.
Nicky and I will be away on vacation starting this Saturday until August 8th. Please contact any of our Elders if you need their assistance. Their phone numbers are listed each week in the bulletins. The church office will also be open during the Food Shelf hours from 10:30am-12:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
